Technical Support Manager:

  • Maintains open and professional communication with customers and clients employees at all times

  • Maintains accurate time tracking in accordance with established procedures

  • Performs adds, moves and changes to systems and technology

  • Generates and accurately maintains network and system documentation

  • Supports technology for networks, data centers and communication systems

  • Supports customer systems that are under contract

  • Designs, implements and supports technology for networks, data centers and communication systems

  • Conducts trainings on various applications

  • Prioritizes service requests

  • Determines entitlement of service requests

  • Assigns service requests

  • Maintains and monitor the corporate infrastructure

  • Acts as a mentor and provides guidance and support to technicians

  • Ensures customer satisfaction

  • Hires TAC/NOC staff

  • Manages TAC/NOC resources

  • Handles disciplinary actions

  • Authorizes vacation requests

  • Conducts annual performance reviews

  • Develops procedures for TAC/NOC

  • Creates and maintains TAC/NOC SharePoint site

  • Manages customer SharePoint Site

  • Assigns all users with SharePoint

  • Coordinates order installations

  • Troubleshoots service requests

  • Ensures service requests are updated

  • Monitors service requests to ensures escalation guidelines are followed

  • Assists in creation and maintain service contracts

  • Assists in development and maintain service/loaner inventory

  • Provides backup for VP of Operations

  • Ensures 24 hour coverage of technician

  • Approves Plus Contract maintenance

  • Manages Cisco Partner Access Online Surveys

  • Provides backup for TSC

  • Provides overflow assistance for TSC

  • Purchases workstations

  • Manages Network Services

  • Manages Active Directory

  • Manages File/Folder NTFS Security

  • Manages Daily/Weekly Backups

  • Manages Baracuda

  • Maintains QuickBooks

  • Manages network updates/upgrades

  • Oversees network updates/upgrades

  • Manages corporate technical infrastructure

  • Administration of Google Account portal

  • Administration of Office 365 Portal

  • Oversee new system integrations (Teams, Salesforce Inbox, Salesforce Analytics

  • Oversee all new hire account creations and permission assignments

  • Cisco Gold Audit

  • Direct liaison to Salesforce Support and end use

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Possesses working knowledge of operating systems

  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and multi-tasking

  • Ability to read and understand technical documents (safety rules, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals) and pass related examinations

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply evolving technologies

  • Troubleshoot, identify, correct and provide root cause analysis of technical issues

  • Ability to identify and resolve customer service problems including the ability to escalate the issue to a higher level when necessary

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong time management skills including ability to prioritize activities effectively

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Firm understanding and working knowledge of the technology and installation requirements for networks, data centers and communication systems

  • Ability to identify and resolve customer problems including the ability to escalate the issue to a higher level when necessary
